1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for, accessing, or using the Y-Learn mobile application, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not create an account or use the application.
2. About Y-Learn
Y-Learn is a mobile learning platform designed to support students and lecturers in managing courses, learning sessions, quizzes, link-based assignments, grades, academic feedback, and learning analytics.
3. User Roles
Y-Learn supports different user roles, including:
- Students: users who access courses, participate in learning sessions, complete quizzes, submit assignment links, view grades, and receive feedback.
- Lecturers: users who manage courses, sessions, quizzes, assignments, enrollments, submissions, grading, feedback, and learning analytics.
4. Account Registration
Users must provide accurate and complete information when registering. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities conducted through their account.
5. Acceptable Use
Users agree to use Y-Learn only for lawful, ethical, and academic purposes. Users must not:
- Submit false, misleading, harmful, or inappropriate content.
- Share links that contain malware, illegal content, offensive material, or content that violates third-party rights.
- Attempt to access data, courses, submissions, grades, or accounts that they are not authorized to access.
- Misuse the application to disrupt learning activities or compromise system security.
6. Assignment Submissions
Y-Learn supports link-based assignment submission. Students are responsible for ensuring that submitted links are correct, accessible, relevant to the assignment, and available for lecturer review.
Lecturers may review submissions, request revisions, provide feedback, save grades, finalize grades, or withdraw final grades according to academic workflow and course policy.
7. Quizzes and Attempts
Quizzes may include attempt limits, passing scores, time limits, and scoring rules. Students are responsible for completing quizzes honestly and according to course instructions.
Quiz attempts and scores may be stored as academic records and may be used for grade calculation, learning progress, analytics, and lecturer review.
8. Grades and Academic Records
Grades, final grades, revision records, quiz attempts, assignment submissions, and lecturer feedback may be stored as official or supporting academic records.
Once a final grade is assigned by a lecturer, the related submission may be locked from further student edits unless the lecturer withdraws or changes the final grade according to the available academic workflow.
9. Lecturer Responsibilities
Lecturers are responsible for:
- Managing course content and learning activities appropriately.
- Providing fair and accurate grading and feedback.
- Using student data only for academic and course-related purposes.
- Maintaining academic integrity in course management and assessment.
10. Student Responsibilities
Students are responsible for:
- Using their own account and keeping credentials secure.
- Completing quizzes and assignments honestly.
- Submitting valid and accessible assignment links.
- Following academic instructions, deadlines, and revision requirements.
11. Data and Privacy
The collection and use of user data are explained in the Y-Learn Privacy Policy. By using Y-Learn, users also agree to the handling of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Service Availability
Y-Learn may require internet access and cloud-based services. The application may not always be available due to maintenance, technical issues, network problems, or service interruptions.
13. Limitation of Liability
Y-Learn is provided to support academic learning and course management. While efforts are made to maintain accuracy and availability, the maintainer does not guarantee that the application will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every academic scenario.
14. Changes to the Application
Y-Learn may be updated to improve features, security, performance, user experience, or academic workflows. Some features may be changed, added, or removed over time.
